Rudder Counterbalance and Top

To get the counterbalance lead weight to fit into its spot, I had to do quite a bit of trimming so that it would accommodate the backside of rivets and also the area where it narrows down at the leading edge of the top of the rudder. Don’t use a bench grinder wheel to do minor grinding/trimming, unless you want lead impregnated in the wheel. Ask me how I know 🙂
